Sami Saihati is an interdisciplinary artist and visual arts teacher. Sami was formerly trained in creativity development and Art therapy at Pratt Institute and traditionally trained in Illustration at SVA while living in NYC.
Sami's work deals with the emotion and the relationships with loss, grief, love, and family at different given moments while focusing on people and their environment. He enjoys experimenting with the idea of mixed media and post-process work in a narrative and nonnarrative form using his photography and filmmaking inviting viewers to engage in a multisensory experience.
